In our History Curriculum, at Golborne Community Primary School, we strive to create opportunities for children to gain a knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world and to think and act as historians, using high-quality historical language.
The Curriculum is planned and taught using our sequenced and progressive curriculum documents (which are based around the National Curriculum). The Early Learning Goals and Framework are used to ensure continuity and progression from Early Years through to the National Curriculum in Year 1.
Our curriculum role model is: Rosa Parks
