Physical Education Curriculum Intent

Our Physical Education Curriculum encourages all children to participate, succeed, excel and to be confident, resilient and ambitious in competitive sport and physical activities, which is underpinned through a wide-range of fundamental, transferable skills, all the while promoting healthy, active and reflective lifestyles.

At Golborne Community Primary School, we have developed our own, bespoke sequenced and progressive curriculum for P.E, tailored specifically to meet the needs of our pupils. It is fully aligned with the National Curriculum and shaped by our ambitions and the key knowledge we believe to be the most essential.
